Leadership, learning & development

Ian has been involved in learning & skills development in most of his 20+ year consulting career, and in his role as an independent he is involved in training & coaching in consulting and service businesses. Ian has led, sponsored or implemented learning, skill development and coaching programmes in a number of service settings, including:

• Ian has been a coach and trainer of consultants and others in a range of core inter-personal and analytical skills, including communication, issues analysis, facilitation, sales in a services context, project leadership and coaching.  His clients include IQVIA, AT Kearney, Cisco, The UK Office of Fair Trading, and others

• Ian also works with other training & development consultancies - P31 Consulting, the Openside Group, and Consulting Skill Ltd.   

• Early in his consulting career, Ian sponsored developed and delivered internal consulting skills training programmes at both PA Consulting Group and Arthur D Little.

• Ian developed, and led the early delivery of, a programme of consulting skills development for Cambridge Pharma Consultancy, and was a sponsor for the development of a number of corporate skills development programmes. at IMS Health, Cambridge’s parent company, now known as IQVIA.
